                                    Time is an Illusion Matter is the concentrated form of energy. Photons are converted into matter by a process called Pair Production, in which a photon entering in a strong magnetic field results in the formation of a particle and its anti particle. The energy of photon must be greater or equal to rest mass of the pair . For instance in production of electron and positron the energy must be 1.022 MeV or greater.
